Cedarwood Essential Oil (Juniperus Mexicana)

Cedarwood has a long history as an incense and perfume. The wood was burned by the Greeks and Romans to fragrant the air.

It’s no wonder why cedars were the trees mentioned most in the Bible, symbolizing a source of protection, wisdom and abundance.

Our cedarwood essential oil is extracted through the cold pressed process from wood pieces of the cedar wood tree. The major components of cedarwood essential oil are alpha-cedrene, beta-cedrene, cedrol, widdrol, thujopsene and a group of sesquiterpenes — all of which contribute a great deal to its health benefits.

PRECAUTIONS

Oil Specific: Avoid while pregnant. May cause skin irritation.
General: As with all essential oils, never use them in eyes or mucus membranes. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner. Keep away from children. If applying an essential oil to your skin always perform a small patch test to an insensitive part of the body.
